After market research revealed that 25% of customers use bicycles as a primary method of transportation, IKEA has made a deal with Velorbis bicycles (German-made, Danish design) to enable bikers to carry home their purchased items in an efficient way. Though this is just a test concept for now, the projected success hints at worldwide usage of trailer bikes in IKEA stores, especially in areas where cycling is most prominent.
